The Medical University of Gdańsk opinion

With our customers' safety in mind we have commissioned at the Medical University of Gdańsk an analysis of alkaloid content in a batch of  Lycium barbarum fruit harvested directly from the plants grown in our nursery.

We take the utmost care not only of the valuable choice and the quality of plants on offer but also of their safety for the customers' health. The cultivable varieties of Chinese wolfberry (Lycium barbarum – Goji) enjoy unfailing popularity amongst gardeners, both professional and amateur. The precious berries yielded by these plants have been widely used in traditional medicinal arts of Asiatic people.

To ascertain that the fruit of the Chinese wolfberry cultivars we offer: AMBER SWEET GOJI®, ‘New Big’ and ‘No.1’ do not contain substances harmful to humans, we have commissioned at the Medical University of Gdańsk an analysis of alkaloid content in a batch of fruit harvested directly from plants grown in our nursery.  The analysis results proved that berries of the cultivars offered by our nursery (batch collected on 25 August 2015) do not contain alkaloids harmful to humans. We present the complete analysis report below (in polish).
