English name: Clematis 'Cloudburst' PBR
Flowers colour: pale violet
Plants height: 2,5-3 m
Flowers size: Medium
Flowering month: VI-IX
Aspect: S , W , E
Pruning way: 3 (hard)
Frost hardiness: Zones 4 - 9

The latest cultivar from Szczepan Marczyński's collection of intriguing light pink-violet flowers turning white towards the centre, with pinkish veins.

Flowers 10-12 cm in diameter consist of 4-6 rhomboid, pointy sepals with slightly wavy edges, light pink underneath with a darker bar along the middle. Stamens harmonize beautifully with the perianth due to their dark, purple-violet, almost black anthers set on cream-coloured filaments. Blooms profusely from the end of June till mid-August and continues moderately till the end of September. Leaves, up to 20 cm long and 15 cm wide, consist of 3-5 lackluster green leaflets, each about 10 cm long and 6 cm wide, sometimes dented. New shoots are green-purple and old ones are brown. The plant reaches 3 m height. Climbs by leaf petiole. Relatively undemanding, robust cultivar.

Useful for creating covers, growing over arbours, trellises and other tall garden supports. It can also climb over natural supports, such as large shrubs or trees.
