A Polish cultivar with pale violet flowers, 14-17 cm across. 6-8 elliptic, long-tipped tepals have a delicate lilac bar along the midrib that fades away with time. Violet-purple anthers on creamy filaments. It flowers very freely in the second half of May and in June, and again in August and September although the second bloom is less profuse. It attains the height of 2-3 m and attaches itself to the support by means of twining leaf petioles. Useful for growing on fences, arbours, trellises, poles and other garden supports. It can climb up natural supports such as deciduous and coniferous shrubs or dwarf shrubs that don’t require hard pruning. Suitable for container-growing.
