Interesting bell-shaped nodding flowers with recurving tips bringing to mind the roof of pagoda. The outside of the tepals is creamy-mauve with deeper mauve veining while the inside of the flower is almost white. Yellow-green stamens. Flowers are borne from June to August. An undemanding cultivar that will thrive in moderate soil. Vulnerable to attack form powdery mildew.
Particularly useful for growing over fences, walls, trellises and stakes. It looks lovely when grown through deciduous and coniferous bushes or dwarf shrubs. Suitable for large containers. Recommended to both beginning gardeners and connoisseurs.
