A very original japanese cultivar. Unfolding flowers have pipelike tepals which make them look like small hedgehogs. Fully open flowers are double and slightly flattened. Blooms from the end of May to July. Thrives best in full sun. It's a perfect choice for growing in containers or small gardens.
