A variety raised in New Zealand. Very large, deep crimson, velvet flowers with very deep red, almost black anthers are borne at the tips of the stems. When hard-pruned (3) it flowers from July to October, whereas after slight pruning (A) it will flower from June to September. It’s best grown in a sunny position against a bright background.
